DAOvanDEO - The Kickoff

Driven by ambition, a creative brain and lots of inspiration, I registered DAOvanDEO. A initiative to provide communicational services. 
 
'Madame,' said the desk officer, 'I am sorry to ask you, but I am so curious for the meaning of that name. DAOvanDEO.'  I smiled as it reminds me of an amazing stay in Thailand. This is where the name was born. Since my name "Gerda", seemed a bit difficult for my Thai friends, the called me 'Dauw'. This is the Thai word for star. Very distinct referring to my project The Shiny Planet Project. The concept behind this project is the idea that anyone on this "shiny planet" can be a "star". 
 
The second part of the name 'van', is simply a Dutch preposition. Well, and last but not least,  DEO. Deo refers to the Latin word for God. Credits to the source of my inspiration for the work I do. 
 
The hodgepodge of these three words is the golden formula in pursuing my ambitions.
